Is Your Energy Split?

The other day I was reflecting on the origin story for my business (which actually started decades before the birth of my business) and realized how often my energy was split.

But, What Do you DO?

Recently I talked with a Gen X woman who asked about what I do in my mentoring sessions.

Oh the Possibilities!

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about possibilities in life and business.

The Beauty of Surrender

After I left corporate to strike out on my own, something interesting happened.

The Fan Club

Few things are as powerful in a young girl’s life as her first celebrity crush.

For the Love of Trees

I have always loved trees. I don’t mean “trees-are-pretty-cool” kind of love. I mean, I truly love them.

The other day I was reflecting on the origin story for my business (which actually started decades before the birth of my business) and realized how often my energy was split. Two sides of the same coin, I guess.

  • Wanting to be seen, but more comfortable flying under the radar
  • Wanting to be cherished, but feeling undeserving
  • Intently focusing on others’ needs while neglecting my own
  • Excelling in school and my professional life, yet negating my accomplishments
  • Justifying my right to exist, yet afraid to take up space
  • Wanting an amazing life, but also wanting to escape

Where did one side end and the other begin? Which side was better? What was real?

Learning it’s ALL me, with no right or wrong and no need for judgment, felt like a deep cleansing breath. I didn’t have to reject a part of myself.

Self-love isn’t what I thought it was. It’s not embracing the “good” parts and erasing or ignoring the “bad” parts. In truth, there are no “bad” parts.

Accepting all of me is what led me here. It’s the reason I’m doing what I’m doing.

And as always, the journey continues...
